Acupuncture

Acupuncture has been around for over 5000 years. We have this unique roadmap of energetic rivers throughout the body. Twelve rivers of “chi” or life force energy, head to toe. There are over 365 acupuncture points mapped out along these rivers, aligned with the major organ system. One of the common terms we use in Chinese Medicine is “stagnation” or as I like to refer as “dams in the river, clogging up the energy flow”. The body is equipped to heal itself, but if the rivers stagnate, dis-ease in the body starts to evolve or a pathogen has entered the body. By inserting tiny hair-like needles into the acupuncture portals of energy, I can assist the flow of chi to redirect itself, allowing the body to heal on its own.

Think of your human body as a vehicle. You have to go in for maintenance in order for it to keep running, right? Acupuncture can tune up your body to keep on going. Whether you have pain, insomnia, stress, depression, digestion issues, gynecological (painful menses, menopause, infertility, postpartum), headaches, anxiety, fear or grief, acupuncture can help with every type of personal disharmony. Come in for your tune up!
